Shaping the Future of Residential Building Renovation Together
Standardised Renovation Packages in Hungary – Professional Workshop within the NERO Project (101294414_LIFE25-CET-NERO)
About the NERO Project
The aim of the NERO project is to establish a trust-based, nationwide One-Stop-Shop system to support residential energy efficiency renovations within the framework of the EU LIFE Clean Energy Transition sub-programme. The mentor-led model supports households throughout the entire renovation process, from making the initial decision through to implementation, while regional pilot projects and green financing solutions help put the system into practice.
About the Workshop
The energy and technical modernisation of residential buildings requires the cooperation of many different stakeholders. Within the NERO project, we are working on developing a One-Stop-Shop system tailored to the characteristics of Hungary’s residential building stock, energy renovation needs and market opportunities.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together professionals involved in residential building renovation to review the key challenges and practical needs of the Hungarian renovation market, and to jointly identify the main considerations and development directions for the Standardised Renovation Packages to be developed within the NERO project.
