From Building Energy Performance Requirements to Implementation – Opportunities in Building Renovation and Financing

Meeting building energy performance targets is not only a challenge, but also a significant opportunity for renovation, financing and market development. At the professional event of the Hungarian Hub of the European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition (EEFC), we will explore how the requirements of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) can be translated into concrete building renovation opportunities in Hungary.

During the programme, we will present the work of the EEFC Hungarian Hub, experiences related to the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) advisory model, as well as professional cooperation in the field of building renovation financing. A key element of the event will be a roundtable discussion, where experts will discuss how public, banking and private funding sources can be aligned, and what solutions could help accelerate building renovation.
